In August 2025, house prices in Norway increased by 0.6% compared to the previous month, which saw a rise of 0.2%, reaching their highest level since February 2025. By the end of August, the average home price was NOK 4,954,306. Regionally, Stavanger experienced the highest price growth at +14.8%, followed by Tromsø at +12.2%, and Kristiansand and Hamar/Stange both at +9.6%. Homes took an average of 49 days to sell in August, compared to 63 days the previous month, with Bergen achieving the fastest sales turnaround at 18 days, and Fredrikstad/Sarpsborg recording the slowest at 87 days. On an annual basis, house prices increased by 5.5%.
